  Well most people can pay the initial downpayment. It is the monthly payment and expenses that kills..... Anyway when people decide to buy a car, they are prepared to pay for a depreciating asset in exchange for convenience.

  It depend new or second hand and also how much you pay upfront for initial payment. I check ard with frens plus parking fees and petrol every month for 2nd hand car about 800 - 1K.
  
  If your job scope is run from place to place day to day, it makes perfect sense to get a car cuz using public transport is very not worth it.

  drive slowly.. anyway u cant speed with a scooter so u cant skid as much as a car driving on a raining day on 180km/h making a right turn... it's very unlikely for scooter to skid unless u're really speeding.
