actually i'll make kue lapis fot hari raya. dunno how to deliver to you..
kue lapis can be kept for months (in fridge). the longer you keep it, the better the taste. we eat it little by little and when it's almost finish...suddenly it become more tasty..he..he..
in sg i see that they sell kue lapis in some shop cakes. but never beat the taste of an old recipe from grandma..he..he.. -

kue lapis is made from loadsa eggyolks (i mean really loads ), margarine + butter, least flour, bumbu spekoek, and condensed sweet milk. and you bake it layer by layer (which is a long and quite a "stressful" process, and only took minutes to finish it ). that's why the price is quite expensive.
wish i could let you try my kue lapis ...
