  anyone of u know what is certificate of service?
  you will get it after ur NS.
  what does it do? is it important in the future when u look for jobs?

  yes. ur future employer may like to see it - as a proof tt u completed ur ns, and also to see wat u did den and how was ur conduct.

  depends...some interviewers like to look at it and form conclusions from it while some just flip it thru...after all...I presume most COS for NS people are quite clean...NIL for the "Distinctions awarded" and "Productivity-related" section...so nothing much to see also...unless regular lar...

  we telling U the practical purpose of the COS does not equate to us telling U to go against your OIC...U want to go against him that's your own problem...its your ass on the line...and....I am sure U know the subtle difference between "good" and "satisfactory" typed next to the "conduct" and "performance" section.
