first of all, i dont know how the term "steady" comes about when in term of BGR except that there is more meaning when the sentence is constructed such as "i have a steady girl/boyfriend''.
i personally feel that the terms "my stead" and "kia steady" are particularly childish and makes the other person sounds like a product rather than a human.
it reminds me of how those ah bengs back in secondary school use it like...
"she is my stead."
"i wanna kia steady with her."
i mean isnt sentences like "she is my girlfriend" or "i am seeing this girl" sound a bit better?
