What is the best way to get a golden tan ?

  my freckles are all on my hands and lower arms...
  
  cos i'm quite tanned....nw.....so it's nt obvious at all..

  Went yesterday afternoon. For yesterday the sun seems to love hiding behind the clouds and there was even a short drizzle which lasted no more than a min. I do have some freckles on my hands.
