My bf kanna accident * worried

He just called me say he kanna accident
I just need to ask some questions here..
The whole incident:
He was awaiting for the traffic light to turn green, and then he heard a loud bang behind his vehicle.
An indian motorist, an uncle banged into his van.
No police report lodged yet, but civil defence came and send the uncle to hospital, and my bf was told to leave.
I called my dad, he asked my bf to lodge a police report anyway,
will my bf be alright????

Your bf's car isn't moving in the first place, so no blame on his part. It's the uncle who is at fault here. Hope he's ok though. -

ur bf's car is stationary. and a van hits him from behind. how can he be blamed???!!!
if anything, he shld claim from that van for not stopping in time and paying attention.

it's nearly impossible unless the following occurs:
1) The judge is crazy.
2) Your bf did a reverse gear.
3) Your bf is stopping on highway (which is impossible since there's traffic light) -
ya lo not his falut... even the traffic light turn green he also not 1 second later his car can move liao...

always make report when not sure. at least make sure ur side of the story is told first.
and as much as possible try to get the other parties' particulars and note down the damage caused by the accident on both vehicles. -

had similar accident once. was travelling Lentor Ave towards Yishun. When approaching the (SLE) flyover, I was flanked by a Trailer on my left and a truck on my right. Seeing that the truck was cutting slightly into my lane as it was about to make a right turn, I slow down my car.
Then out of the sudden, I heard a thud from behind. This motor cycle bang right on behind. My colleague quickly went out to assist them. The rider dislocated his shoulder and the pillar rider had some scratches.
Later when the TP came, I thought I was going to get some summon but he scolded the motor cyclist for tailgating instead. PhewÂ…. -
