but then again, every company that provides email service will retain all your emails, but mostly for evidence/tracking when something goes wrong only. not to monitor your preferences... then since already gmail declared they will scan thru all your emails(not the virus scanning), you can be sure they will definitely do it and maybe few months down the road, you will start to get more spam emails.. from the courtesy of google... keke

Don't be so sceptical lah, it did increase its mail storage. To 100MB for free account, and 2GB for premium. What to do, have to fight with Google mah...but yesterday used Yahoo! email like very slow...server kept hanging, connection to the server refused etc...think the new system still trying to kick into place properly...
I don't have an issue with the Google scanning of emails. Just because Yahoo! or Hotmail didn't say so doesn't mean they don't do the same, right? As long as Google is able to reduce the "enlarge your p and b" spam mails as promised...privacy is what anyway? Esp to a place like Singapore...tsk tsk... -
