Anyone aspires to be a Nurse?

Always thought that nursing is much more of a calling then a job.
Never thought of being a nurse because I cannot imagine myself cleaning up someone's mess plus I highly doubt myself being able to honestly care for strangers. Feeling for them is one thing, but caring and cleaning up for them is another. -
Being a nurse means:
You will never be bored.
You will always be frustrated.
You will always be surrounded with challenges.
So much to do & so little time.
You will carry immense responsibility and very little authority.
You step into peoples' lives & you make a difference.
Some will bless & some will curse you.
You will see people at their worst, & at their best.
You will never lease to be amated at peoples' capacity for love, courage & endurance.
You will see life begin & end.
You will experience resounding triumphs & devastating failure.
You will cry alot & you will laugh alot.
You will know what it is to be human & to be humane.

Everytime I go NUH or poly, I always sit around observing the nurses.
I really must salute the nurses, coz they are always damn busy, doing practically everything from admin work, dressing up wounds, pushing wheelchair, chasing after patients, helping the diabled right up to taxistand.....
It seems they have so much work so little time, yet they are always smiling, chatting happily with the patients, laughing, teasing one another or the patients..
Must really salute those in the nursing profession for their TOTAL devotion to caring for the sick. -
