Certain airlines requires only 1.58m. Like JAL... Which needs only O levels. JAL Remuneration is not bad. However, there is a limit in destinations they fly to. Unlike SQ, as it is a home based airlines, the crew gets to fly to all destinations. In JAL, sin based crew are considered as foreign based crew, so they have fixed destinations routes to fly to, but its not bad... considering they allowed around 9 routes.
Middle east airlines they recently recruit people from Singapore, like Emirates, Gulf Air and Qatar Airlines, their remunerations are very very good.. might be better than SQ. Because they will pay u in USD. After conversion, the pay should be at least 1.5times or even more than SQ. However, the cons is u have to be based in their base countries. Contract years should be 3 years. However, the exposure is good. Emirates is Dubai, Gulf Air is Bahrain. Qatar i'm not too sure sorry.
I asked her why not singapore airlines...
She told me that she hate singapore airlines uniform and japan airlines uniform is nicer...

From my knowledge, JAL flys to San francisco, japan, Brisbane or melborune, can't remember, LA, KL, New york, mainly US, Australia routes. And u fly to Japan Dead Head, then u start ur work from JPN. -
