mole removal

just wondering if anyone has removed their moles before and have some experience in dis??
i intend to get two moles (both flat moles, under 0.5cm in diameter) removed on my face.. i went to see a derm at a clinic, and he wanted to charge me $600 to remove them by laser vaporisation.. it sounds pretty xxx?
hopefully someone can contribute some useful info to this thread asap, like where i can get them removed and what's the cost & procedure like! thks!! -
went to beauty salon to do.....
protruding mole on my arm....
$30 (per mole, depending on size)...put mild acid and "burn" it away with a solder-like equipment....
not bery painful....
my fren surgically remove hers....by cosmetic surgeon....$500....the scar uglier than mine!!! -

think my case is slightly diff from urs, mine's a flat mole, urs was protruding.. but yea.. cosmetic surgeons are charging damn hi rates.. siao ga liao.. i heard that there were places/salons that used laser to help u remove em at sub-100 rates.. anyone knows where i can find such places/salons? -
those protruding moles are easier to remove and less pain.Those surgeon will cut it out and use a heat torch or something that emits heat to "seal" the opening.I was given anaesthetic (teach me how to pronouce it) so no pain haha =p.
flat mole need to be "digged" out and stitch back.But laser better la. -

so its around 150.
Dun be too quick to decide,go around and search for more options lor.If u canot stand pain,remember to get anaesthetic..Damn painful one...I tell u what,go to ur nearby family clinic and say u wan to remove,ask the doc to recommend u. -

laser is more precise and leaves mild scar.....
but of cos more ex loh......mus go to authorised doctors...
can go see clinic doctor first....some moles cannot be removed one cos there might be nerves underneath it....some are jus pigment on the surface level.....some moles are cancerous......
dun play play.....somemore on the face.....skarlee moles removed but u become freddy krueger.... -

budden he went to the feng shui shop to do it.
he says if u get a mole away will change ur destiny..
however its very cheap.
it works..

then again.. i heard the price ranges from diff surgeons.. i still think that the doc is over charging at 600 bucks.. esp when its only two small moles.. i heard (not verified) that there iz a shop in fu lu shou that did laser mole removal at slightly below 100 per mole (for small ones), and i was wondering if ani1 might haf been there b4.. -

Borrow a cigarette from a friend(If u smoker better!),light it up and SHOVE it on the mole area and burn it! HaHa,cheap and fast! Quite pain lah!(Cost:50 cent)

I did mine 6 months back,they cut it out.It was a portruding one.Ya,after surgery,need to send the mole to lab den see wat isit made up off.lol

I removed one on my face. the doc used something (not laser. dunno what) to burn it off. Now there is a hole there, but it's not obvious nor ugly at all.

i dun mind paying 200-400 for it.. but i think 600 is too expensive..
anione has recommendations for laser removal between 200-400 ? paragon is out coz its wayyyyyyyyy too xpensive for me.. -

after reading thru quite a few posts on mole removal methods on this forum and another forum, i think i'd go with a proper clinic w/ laser treatment.. however, my budget does not allow me to exceed 300 (400 at most).. anyone knows of a clinic that is within my budget?

mine... i did it at my beauty salon downstair...
$30 for a 5mm mole(about) and $10 for a smaller one on face.
dunno wat the hell they did to my face while remove.
she used something to jab around my mole.
then duuno after that do what...
then i got a acidic feeling on my mole...
i think its painful although bearable...
whole process is about 25 minutes
Finally, the location; sengkang rivervale plaza.

actually, is a mole removal really that important?? some actually are said to be good, like my fortune mole on the arm and the greedy mole on the face =P...not that 'ming xian' though

Hi everybody, it's my first time here. Wow seems like I join this forum too late. Hopefully some of you will still come back and at least see my posting. Ya I agree with Babyboy that I do believe a mole can somehow affect one's destiny. It happens on me. See...I have one protruding black mole about 0.5cm under my mouth. It causes alot of misunderstanding on how people look at me, thus somehow it affects my interpersonal relationship with others. I have also experienced people making fun of me regarding my mole. Well...it's indeed hurting. Some of you out there wondered where to remove a mole at a cheap rate. In my opinion, it's still the best to go to an authorised doctor, like the ones at National Skin Centre. Well, a few hundred dollars to remove a mole is, although not cheap, but still within my budget as I have always thought that it needs about few thousand dollars to do the job. Hehehe.... Hey by the way, is it that easy to remove a mole without shedding blood, as what some of you out there has mentioned? Mine even got hair growing out. Need your advice. Thanks!
