HELP!!! i got cold sores!!

any doctors here??!?! me kanna cold sores on my lips man.. very very painful.. now my whole lips is swelling n got some blisters on it...will take 2 weeks to heal!
any remedy??? -
cold sores are caused by a virus called Herpes Simplex.. usually type 1 or 2...
you can't do anything about them as it's a virus.. you can only allow the body to learn to kill the virus...
oh.. they spread very easily.. use disposable stuff.. do not share utensils... -

If u bey pai seh go to guardian and ask the pharmacist for cold sore cream lor. Who have you been kissing hah?? Ppl with cold sore are always look upon as promiscious. Anyhow kiss kiss so kena lah!!

my core sore comes and goes. When I'm stress, my lips will be dry and sometimes quite painful. Lip balm helps. But have to apply every 15 minutes.

cold sores is another name for Herpes. Sound scary right... STD. Once get it cannot be cured. but u won't die from it. But will look ugly when there is outbreak.
Get cream from doc or pharmacy. will heal faster. Also sleep well and maintain fitness will reduce incidence of futureoutbreaks.
When got herpes do not kiss or OS your partner. can be spread.... it will be better to tell your partner and see whether he/she can accept. if you all continue to be together then to spread to each other after some time.
usually appear in mouth and genital area, can also appear in other parts of the body.... but the above two places more common.
See a doc... and read websites on herpes and cold sores.... good luck. -
Take as much cooling stuff as possible, e.g. liang teh. It'll speed up the recovery process. Also helpful to identify what triggers your cold sores, so that you know how to manage them in future.

Maybe it's just normal infections or inflammation.
But if you don't see a doc, it might get worse.
