  Because Mandarin Hotel is too posh for just 60 bucks.
  But it's okay - as long as it is fun I don't really care where it's held!

  It's been a while...
  Anyway, I guess it 'cause many wanted this event to be solely exclusive to the JI Year 3s. It's the last chance they will get to interact during an official school event.

  ermm .. actually i dun think it's very expensive if its a closed door event and esp when it is a 4 star hotel and one of Shangrila's subsidary.

  Well...I thought that the SC teacher asked whether we would like to invite others or keep it to ourselves after that crappy talk, by Mister you know who, and there was an almost unanimous roaring "Noooo" remember?
  
  But that is not of my immediate concern - what I really want to know is the activity line-up and the eats.

  Another plausible reason that I can concieve is that having, no offence, "outsiders" will complicate things - mainly in terms of payment.

  its nt a ball or party.. i mean, u can organise one by urself if u wan all ur frends here..

  I second that!
  Having "outsiders" tag along may reduce the level of interaction between students.
  But I'm okay with fellow JIans.

  i can't recall the incident at LT4, could be absent that day. Personally the thing abt inviting outsiders to me is that i could get a partner frm outside, not that i wanna hold a party or anything of that sort.
  Anyway, the response is really low and wonder if there will really be a prom night becoz of that.

  haizzzz ..... muz understand that which class i am from , n of coz not much pple going. N i believe alot of those pple whom i think very HIAO ones are going . We can have a gathering organize by ME! come my house n i be the DJ then we party all nite hehehehhehee...
  No la , seriously we can organize a girls nite out , then we go zouk or erm... other happening places , or go lim kopi , go gossip , hehehehhee I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!
