Now people normally do the following:
When draw tiles, use thumb pull upwards is wan zhi, use thumb pull downwards is circle, draw tiles without using thumb is bamboo. Slam the tile hard on the table means big card.
Need which number will depend on how he place the tiles, need number 1 just put on the extreme left, need number 2 put in between the 1st and 2nd tile, need number 9 put on extreme right etc etc. -
