  type the url of the picture (in jpeg or gif format)
  e.g http://www.elmo.com/bear.jpg
  
  highlight the entire url and click [Img] button above in the reply box
  
  you have to upload them onto a webpage (avoid geocities and angelfire) before u can do external link for the pix to show up here.
