Usually when i board a bus, i'll immediately open my eyes wide and look out for " the seats that i like". With regards to the question, of course it's seating next to him/her that's better, but make sure you smell nice that day so as to attract her attention. Forgotton to add, while you're walking up to the seat, try get her attention(eyes) as much as possible. I would first leave some gap in between but as the bus gets more crowded ,i'll move closer to her. But if i feel that i havent looked at her enough, i'll just turn my head slightly to catch a glimpse of her. But if u 're yandao, after sitting beside her for some time ,she'll wanna turn and look at you.
