i think it's cool.
i personally like sci-fi/mysteries/undiscovered sciences.
after all, life is not always about things we already made known of, such as technologies and accountings. being imaginary can be rather fun at times.
as long as one doesnt over-indulged to such issues, i think it's pretty fine. -
