Agree. If that someone is so special to u, y hide? If u cant even share ideas, things ... how to share life with the person? Bottling up is not a healthy sign in any relationships... I think we all need to have our own personal spaces n secrets... so it actually depends on individual. There might be some sad memories that u don't wanna say it out afraid that it might affectthis new relationship...as for me, i will say wat i can say. e rest is up to her to ask, if she ask then i will/might say lor...if not then i willl not.

Life after a relationship: Interesting... cos I got this ex...she is the quite open type lah... when she c me, she will give me a kiss on my cheek still...of course not infront of my gf lah.
Guess we are mature enough and know wat we are doing...a peg on the cheek is just a friendly sign for her...we do not have that kind of feeling for each other...just friends...and of course we have had our good times together before...but those are in the past.
As for another ex... she will avoid me... even when I went up to say Hi, she will mumble some excuses and disappear.
As for my current gf, we respect each other's space, and we set aside at least an hour a week to talk abt our feelings and doubts... -

I always tell my gf (past and present) everything... i use it to build up her trust in me. Because I know how shitty it feels when you cannot trust your other half...
It also makes life easier for me. No need to come up with lies, no need to think of excuses. No need to fight with my conscience... -

Hmmmm....but sometimes i think u cannot tell everything one...cos sometimes i feel that a personal space is needed for everyone. Some people do not want to remain as friends even after they break.....this is true.. do u think that is cos they cannot forget the relationship ? or is it becos it has just changed to hate( love change to hate ) ?? its amazing how special moments spent together and such loving people can end up one party hating the other after it is over... how fast the change is .
