juz wondering y gals like to say dat they hope to remain as frens wif their ex bf after e break up..n KEEP IN CONTACT..e most ridiculous part is she got new bf liao den can still say how she misses e happy moments dat she spent wif u...while e next moment will boast abt how her current beau treasures her...dote on her....den she compare her ex bf n current bf....i noe i sound petty in saying all this..but i tink when a relationship is over...shld juz 4get abt it n move on....gotta look 4 greener pastures mah

yeah, i've this experience too some time back tho, " We'll still be frenz rite?" dats wad mi ex said, but welll..... apparently dats not wad happens lo, we ( mi & ex ) still sms each other but the contents are not the same as when were frenz then
. And we are slowly becoming like strangers liao. Sigh.....

i'm in contact with all of them except the most recent one. and yeah she wanted to be frens. i didn't decline verbally but i guess i did in actions.
anyway she's overseas so there's not much to contact. when/if she comes back then say lor. it's been over a year liow. let bygones be bygones and we can always catch up and "fu yan" each other. i wouldn't mind spending a few dollars to buy her coffee.
as for REALLY being frens.. i guess none of my exes are GOOD frens. on good terms yes, but not all.
i feel it's hard to be frens after a break-up, especially a tough, NON mutually consenting break-up. but after a while (long long while) it should be ok.. but as for bosom buddies kind of frens, i haven't experienced it. i'm not saying it's impossible, i'm saying it hasn't happened to me. -

let me add on sometink...my ex say dat i was bery HEARTLESS to say dat i din wan to stay in contact wif her...but den again shes e one whu did me me wrong...

er....if count serious de hua....2 lor...one of them became my gan didi after our break up..the other one...still in contact lar...but seldom lor...due to work...but then...he was the on i really loved alot...hard for me to accept him as my fren again...too hurting...every now and den...i will kinda miss him and think of out happy days lor...and den cry and cry... but wad's past has past...dunno y some times i still miss him...haiz...

Usually if girls ask still wanna be fren, even if my heart's not willing, i'll still assure her & say yes. Breaking up must also be gentlemanlike, even though i know it's impossible...After some time, the feeling will nvr be the same again, &very mild chances of getting back. i have several ex~ still friends & get in contact... i feel that it could be a nice feelin that both knowing once together, but heaven just tested us & we failed.... sometimes we smiles & chat bot old times in coffee beans~ it's a bit like old friends that never mean to be couples... but understand one other =)
*btw, a tip... never speak about ur current gf/bf when together, it just spoilt the astmosphere* -

dunno...btw..those 2 guys i toked abt were 2 diff guys...hehe...the last one i tok abt was recently nia lor(let's call him B)...the 1st one was last yr (let's call him A)...this dec 23 A and me brk up 1 yr liaoz...some how...still kinda miss him lei...until now...me and him stil ntng to tok when we see each other or even on fone lor...abit diff for me to really except this fact...
