Divorce rate / Marriage Rate

  For 4 marriage per year, there is 1 divorce
  
  About 22000+ married, 5000+ divorced.
  
  Alarming divorce rate. Worrying marriage rate too.
  
  Why?

  it takes up 25% of it.
  Why the high rate?
  
  hrmm, could be bcoz of flirting, quarrels, money, no 5Cs..
  
  relationship getting far apart due to husband always away on oversea trips.

  It is taken VERY SERIOUSLY... That's why they went for the DIVORCE...

  Maybe the locals are too spoonfeed and thus when come to relationship problem.. They tend to be more ching cai and unmature. And after marriage, usually life is depend by themselves (cant possible still get pocket money from parents rite?) And when problems such like responsible and money come in... Young couples whom doesnt noe how to handle it and break into fights which result into divorce at the end of the day?
  
  Anyway in a relationship must give and take lor.. If both side doesnt give and take, how to maintaince it? For this might as well dont get married in the first place?
  
  Another possible reason is... queing of HDB flats.... If I not wrong, only a register couple can apply for a brand new HDB flat. And the wait could be pretty long... So in order to secure a home straight after marriage... Couple will just pray hard tat nothing goes wrong during tat period of waiting?
