Got a few such cases back in my U days in hostel.
The bf quite bad type...will "torture" the gf...then this gal pour her grievancies to mi friend...slowly they get closer (the bf in army), and then the gal decided to break off wif the bf cos she felt safer to be wif mi friend. A few times the guy came look 4 her in the U, luckily mi friend ard...once that guy wanted to hit the gal, but stopped in time by mi friend...and the gal kissed mi friend in front of the guy to show that she has no more feelings for that guy.
A few are still together now, some did not make it that long after that.
It is up to u. Give her strength to stand up to her rights to choose. If it has to, let her know your feelings abt her and support her all the way.

If it's really the bf's fault, ie he's a bad boyfriend, then i suggest you try to go after her... discreetly. don't show up with roses at her doorstep etc, but if she's down one day because of her boyfriend, then go and comfort her... and suggest to her that maybe her bf is not good enough for her.
But let me warn u, if she got no feelings for u, it won't work... -

little things go a long way lor, e.g. going to school with her/fetching her from school/work... buying little gifts for no reason, maybe even a card to go along with it... smsing her to say hi, or if u are together liao then to tell her u miss her or love her... basically to let her know that you are thinking of her...being there for her when she's down or needs someone to talk to...
many things lah... but basically, letting her know that she's no 1 in your life -

i do hv frens who bf treat her bad...... or even not that type of bf that she wanted in her life..... but in the end she still choose to stay with him.....
u shld agree that there are some silly/"wei da" ger who hope to use marriage to gamble that her partner will change in the future? but its a wrong move wor?

I guess sometimes love is blind... i have a friend whom i like for quite some time. Was very close to her for some time...she was popular... then she got attached to this guy who is just a bastard.. flirt outside n stuff like that... they been together for bout 5-6 years..my friend keep tahan him.. saying she cant turn back liao... i think she is just too blinded by love lor.. but glad that she broke off with her bf liao.. now happy together with another guy

knew tis gal 1ce... her bf is the typical mcp, treated her like shit. i really liked her and we went out together wenever we could and i treated her like a princess. Slowly our affections grew but the day came wen she went overseas to study and her bf went too.... cnt count the numerous long distance calls i made to hear her sobs and trying to console her... at the end of the day, my reward was to get a phone call from her telling me she would be marrying him....
My advice, If you wana treat a gal nice... go ahead. but if she's attached and doesnt wana give up her bf for you... u give it up!!! you are just being played with.
