Platonic friendships?

I'm just kicking myself right now!
There used to be a girl i worshipped and we were very good friends ... but then she kept on mentioning the phrase 'platonic friendship' until i totally gave up ever chasing her and concentrated on our friendship.
I just found out today that she had a huge crush on me at that time ... &#^&$%^#!!!
*sigh*
Is there really such a thing as a platonic relationship? Or are all relationships always doomed to develop into something more? -
platonic relationship is possible but also have to depends on both parties...

tho we can juz come out together alone, talk abt anything under the sun, including sex, BGRs, and even our closest secrets, but it never developed into any romance. and i'm happy to stay that way. -

it does exists but in most cases it will eventually turn out to b more than platonic frenship. . .
but dat r purely platonic frenship it does exists coz dat always sum kinds of ppl whereby u knw they can b v v gd frenxs,sum1 to b by u, sum1 who accept the way u r & understand u v well but dat no special feeling. . . the chemistry juz dun exist at all!

agree with danger7755 that some platonic friendship will not develop into anything. u can talk & share about anything but the feeling is just not there. but good point is that your know each other really well. if the girl got crush in you, some like to start & emphasize on platonic friendship. how u develop it into romance really depends on how u do. cant rush but got to take a step at a time..

playing mindgames is certainly veri tiring if i were u at that time confirm won't give up wan maybe she kept using the word bocs trying to improve her english hinting u if u waana stay tat way

platonic friendships are possible... but u gotta get over the crush phase...
once u get over the fact that love isn't gonna happen, the frenship comes in.
then again i could be wrong, coz some ppl just have this barrier that stops at friendship lor...
everyone's different, u wouldn't know what's gonna happen
