  In 2000, it was my ex gf's birthday so i decided to set up a birthday surprise for her... i made a walkway of lighted candles all the way to a picnic site i made for her.. from the underpass all the way to where our meeting place was supposed to be.. then i hid a ring i bought in the sand and i gave her a treasure map to go find it.. haha.. it was so much fun.. i was hiding so she didnt see me..
  
  but i purposely make her find poems which i wrote that lead her to a next clue.. then when she finally found the present, i walked to her playing Happy Birthday on the violin which she play very well...
  
  i kind made her touched that she couldnt say anything for the next hour.. then we spent the night just looking at the stars... *sigh*
  
  1 year later we broke up because of irreconciliable differences..

  eh...got a few but think i said 2 of it....
  got 1 quite unique 1..me stay the highest den behind my blk is a carpark then got tis nite my xbf (dat time my bf) call my hp n ask me to look out of my bedroom at the carpark..
  dat he was with lighted candles forming the word I Love U.. it was v sweet coz he just come to do 4 me to c then go... lol
  hmm dat another on my bd,another xbf..he picked me up after my clubbing birthday session to send me home..den he drive up to my hse carpark then ask me to shut my eyes..then he on a birthday song then ask me to open my eyes.. in front of me is a cake then he use those light tube in his car form my name..then give me lilies n gifts..v sweet too!

  I still remember during the time when I was still serving my NS, my galfriend gave me an audio cassette tape on my birthday which records my family wishing, my friends wishing and of cos her wishing... the tape meant so much to me in my NS days and it really touches my heart, and from that time onwards I know that she is going to be the one I want to be with... she is my wife now

  in 1998, i decided to give my ex-bf a birthday surprise... I spent a whole night making the card (including real 5 matchsticks and rest - fake matchsitcks, totalling up 18 ) for the purpose of lighting up candle on cake.
  
  we met up each other with other 2 friends (come to my house unpexpectly, darn it, wrong time) in bugis. we find a cafe to sit down for a chat.. i ask my ex to wait for a while as i want to go to toilet (actually, i collect the cake)..
  
  after bought a cake, i walked behing him to give him a surprise liao.
  i help him to open a cake for him, looking for the lighter in my bag. i dun have it, asking him hOw?
  
  he dunno what to do as he dun expect the cake to be there surprisely... i pass the card to him....
  
  uopn opening the card, i ask him to make a guess which is 5 real matchsticks... got 5 chances but if not, we have to "push" his face onto a cake ...
  
  sad thing, we break our 2nd year relationship for another guy who come in to my life.

  She phoned me and told me that she had a very bad day at work during office hours. At 5pm, i appeared with a bunch of her favourite bouquet (tulips) and walk her to Singapore river. Enjoyed the lovely stars above us with a cup of cuppicino.
