Instead - let your actions speak for themselves. To chase someone, is more of what you want to do than what you have to say. In this society now - words are more or less meaningless. Actions and a pure sincere heart is more effective. Woman nowadays ain't that dumb as to believe I love you literally now.
Woo her the traditional way a man would do - and without expecting you will get her. Just do your task and duty because if she is meant to be yours, she will be yours. The more hope you put in - the less satisfying you feel if you get her and more dissapointment if you don't.

actually give her vday present is ok what... it's quite common for frens to exchange gifts on vday. i used to exchange gifts with my frens on vday, they are girls somemore. i think it depends on the kind of present u get for her lor... this coming vday im planning to get a gift for my brother!!

i also duno leh.. but i thot if u also give her frens a small gift, wont make it so obvious that u wan to give her a VALENTINE's day present, then wont scare her. then she will accept the gift more readily cos it will be more like a gift to a fren. maybe u can get her a nicer gift than the rest? but at the same time maybe she will think that u r a flirt? dunno........
