our thinking changed as we grow older.. how can we stereotype man n women this way... some may have done wrong in the past.. really bad things.. but who know they might really turn over a new life whereas some really good ones turn really bad.. We cant define what goods / bad coz different people got diff opinions on different persons.. if u really like them, accept them e way they are... not what your ideal is... every person no matter how bad they are or how good they are, theres definitely some good or bad points in them.

I do not believe in lowering one's expectation. Why do u have to? I'd still go for someone i really like, somebody of my dream..why do u have to settle for something lower? i am suppose to be studying what are the differences between monopolistic competition and monopoly now.. but the temptation to reply this thread is simply too great. so here goes my two cents worth and hope i dont miss the point.
after reading what the author has wrote, i have a few questions for him and his supporters:
1. what is the definition of a good girl/guy?
2. who are qualified to define them as good or bad?
3. if they are good, are you good enough to be with them?
4. if your answer is yes, then who has or is qualified enough to justify your good qualities?
as far as i see it, to generalise and sterotype, especially in a negative manner is a childish act.
given that today you misplaced your wallet and couldnt find it though you know where you last left it, would you start claiming that all singaporeans are thieves?
subsequent to the above, let's say your wallet is returned tomorrow, would you start correcting your statement and say all singaporeans are nice and selfless people?
in the first place, have you ever blame yourself for being careless?
many a time do we see ourselves blaming on others when things dont work out, including relationship.
if you cant find a girlfriend/boyfriend, let alone a suitable one, do you think it is appropriate to blaming the person beside you, just because he/she is the opposite sex?
hey, just admit that it's tough luck to bump into the wrong person and forget about it.
ok... let assume some of the girls/guys are materialistic, but what's wrong with that? you are always given full liberty to choose not to be with him/her.
please dont tell me outta such big population, you cant find someone good enough to be with your goodself?
