Anyway I have a fren who's inside and he's oh so secretive about what he sells. But he's always trying to pull us to go for a "product demonstration" or a "recruitment talk". When u ask him to give u more details he refuses to.
Suspicious right? But I heard that the talks are very very enticing. But don't get conned! Do your homework first... -
But there are so many of them out there, how to know which is good or which is scam?

no lah, i went months ago. james is one of the senior distribution manager there.
yah sounds easy.. but actually quite hard to promote lor. my fren, who's working there, is able to sell those mattresses cos she's from a rich family...........no trouble making sales -

i agree that singaporeans can be really health conscious.. but i dun think they will be crazy enough to spend so much on $$ unless they're really rich and cant find anywhere else to keep their $ -

basically MLM is hyped up to be like the next BIG THING but then it is just another mode of distribution of products. For example, milk are distributed by retail stores, insurance are distributed by personal selling by the agents, so these MLM people are just DISTRIBUTORs of these products, they are merely salesmen. Difference? Is that they make it sound like as though u OWN the business. Bull. IF Astral Mag or Asayo or Nuskin or watever goes bankrupt, DO U STILL HAVE A BUSINESS?? NO. So i guess you can call MLM people Glorified Salesmen. Having talk so much, a salesman is still a decent mode of earning a living. The irritating and the bane of these MLM is the way they go about pushing their business. They ask u come down to places to give u a 1 hr talk and they are very pushy. You cannot criticise them, they get defensive, like a cult sia. They keep calling u and telling u how u can get rich when the fact is that only 5% of MLM people succeeded. Like any sales job, its hard work i dun deny, but if such AGRESSIVE tactics are used, sadly i would say, MLM is not gonna survive long. The worst thing i ever heard them say, maybe i am a marketing person, thats why i am very sensitive to such things, they said to me "I am not interested in selling things, i just wanna improve your life." Ya sure, but how? Buy their products. or they say "its ok u dun wanna buy, i just wan u to understand our business concept, then maybe you will see how good it is and then can join us." Bull. Not interested in selling? So if everyone just joins them but no one buys anything, what they survive on? NOT interested in selling? worst nonsense and worst attempt at trying to con the consumers. As much as advertising and marketing is trying to present value to the consumers, i find what most MLM tell me is the lamest way of doing it. To MLM people, we got brains, you sure you got yours? -

i am no lao jiao lah, everyone's learning from one another. I got many frens in MLM thats why i know all these things. I even got one doctor give up his clinic job to full time in MLM. No prob, anyway i said something to my frens to in Astral Mag what u said earlier...i say, Singapore got 900000 (approx) households, if got 5% (VERY OPTIMISTIC estimate) households willing to buy your $1600 matress. and there are 2000 of you selling these matresses. so its 2000 of you all competing for a market size of 45000 households. 1 household buy 1 matress from you, which means on average every Astral Mag person can sell up to around 20+ matresses. But thats it! you think people change matress like change clothes? My house matress haven change for 5 years! and somemore yours is a $1600 scientifically-haven-proven-magnetic-dun-noe-what-healing matress, you think people really so rich ah change every month. this china guy from XXXXXX xxx thought im a fool..dun noe anythnig bout MLM..thought tat he's at a level to psycho me..I 1st heard of NUXXXX 2yrs back..their tactics were far more guileful than XXXXXX( u guys want 2 improve listen up)..they dun ask u go company see product or go coffee shop tok cock..even ppl earning more $$ than them dont need to show off their cars intentionally. they dont beat round the bush..they'd ask u go sum1's home(bungalow)..they get some professional speakers all well trained to talk..with only one purpose : psycho u. the more u listen to they the more u interested..do product demo on the spot, followed by reception..long story cut short..MLM..they cant survive by selling their products. they need get new members in under them to do the selling for them..& a simplier way is to get friends/ relatives. u not only sucking every cent out of them, u r getting them into deep s h i t with u..all of them shake your hand with a mask on their face & a smile tats so fake. my mentor worked as an accountant for some MLM companies 10 yrs back..his job was to crack brain & think of ways to earn $$$ for the company..he could explain how the "system" actually works....FOR their company
back to the china guy from XXXXXX xxx..Give me 20 years warranty for their mattress? i wouldnt be surprise if they close shop the very next day..these days more china students are being recruited..many were still happy to repeat their studies here..thinking it is alright..all being blinded(greed comes 1st) by wat this system can offer: easy money..no such things.& if u r thinking tat these pple can succeed & u want to be like them by joining their business..u r only working as slaves for them.. -
