went to see doc for diet pills.. quite good... eat before meal. my friend who ate it lose 8kg per month but she got exercise lar... pill name is duromine.. feel that doctor recommanded pill effective... but side effect is insomia... varies among people.. my friend is not affected..

got a clinic in bishan anderson i think.. quite famous for diet pills and weight gaining pills.. but they will measure yr height and weight and the BMI before the doc will let you take the pills..Originally posted by Venus:which clinic? -

I'm still surprised that people will take diet pills.
Only when there are medical problems should these be taken. The only safe and sure way of losing weight is through a proper balanced diet (which MUST include some fat as well as ALL other food groups) and a regular exercise routine.
The fad diets and diet pills don't work and may cause harm in the long term.
This has been reiterated many many times, yet people look for a short cut.
Why? Is the need to look good so important that people will sell their future for an empty purse?
I see women walking around these days, I have to surpress the urge to try and give them a sandwich! They look like a bag of bones!
If weight has to be lost for health, then do it right? If for the sake of looking good, exercise... it'll be better for one in the long run and will give one a glow of good health which cannot be gained from taking a diet pill.
After Fen-Phen and Slim-10, the world has still not learnt...

I am taking a diet pill, which i think someone described earlier, costing $1 per pill, taking 1 per day, but mine is a bit different, i will have to eat before i start the day before eating anything. THe effect is loss of appetite, hyperactive, dry mouth, heart beat faster, insomnia, but it varies, i did not experience any of the side effects...i lost 5.5 kg in 2 months, if onli i exercised....anyway, they wun prescribe the pills for vanity sake, which i think is moral and good, i was gien the pill for my mild hypertension problem.
the best diet pill on the market arguably is Xenical, it works in such a way is that u can eat anything u wan and yet lose weight. My doctor has wanted to put me on this medicine but it was way too expensive. It costs ard $134 for 84 pills i think. U have to take 1 before every meal...so very expensive. It works because it prevents ur body to absorb any fats. Thus, the doctor says even u eat anything u wan, and no exercise u still can lose abt 2kg per month, but he says advised is to eat lesser fatty food and exercise. He says this medicine is really very effective but it is expensive and odf course the very distressing side effect, fats will just leak out from ur ass without u knowing it. So u may find a oil patch on ur chair or pants when u sit or even when walking. This is because the fats were nt absorb and go straight to the asshole and leak out... -
