  Man stabbed to death in the neck, girlfriend arrested for murder

  A 42-year-man was stabbed to death in the neck in Holland Close on Thursday, the third homicide in Singapore since Monday.
  
  Police said they received a call from a woman at about 1.50pm, saying her boyfriend was bleeding.
  
  On arriving at the one-room rental flat at Block 1, Holland Close, they found the man with a stab wound on the left side of his neck.
  
  The man was pronounced dead shortly after.
  
  The man is believed to have been stabbed by the woman with a pair of scissors which was recovered in the flat.
  
  The woman, who is 35 years old, has been arrested for murder and will be charged in court on Saturday.
  
  It is believed the couple were living in the flat for the past 9 months.
  
  No details have been released on their identities, but neighbours say the woman is known as Esther, and the dead man, Steven.
