u have to put in effort for everything~ -
for me I think it's how your looks that is most important when you approach or being approach... if you look like a babe, for sure the guys will chat with you or you don't even need to approach... they'll come to you... but if you look like some alien, then no matter what or how hard you try, the other party will not chap you... so far, i only been approah once... I think if a guy is sincere, can tell it from his body language and his tone of voice.
I mean which gal would want to befriend a guy who shakes his whole body while standing (slouching), holds a cigarette, with bad breath and bad attire and approach the gal 'be my friend leh'
It's the sincerity and politeness and eye contact. Don't have to be very handsome and charming mah. Just neat and tidy, Just say 'hello, can we be friends?' and offer a handshake. I think it's good enough.
