  anyhw dun bcoz of dat no need pay down-payment tamptation & go buy car it abit stupid...
  coz if u do throughly calculation u will find dat if u buy a car yes u might afford it in e short run but then when it comes to u wana sell e car u will hv to fork out extra money to sell e car...

  pls do not waste your money you earn in the SAF on a car.
  it is a total waste, a car is a big liability, what's more camps nowadays are accesible via public transport, unless you are suay, stay in tampines, then kena sungei gedong camp / tengah airbase.
  Still, getting a car is expensive. i suggest getting a bike.
  
  And pls pls pls do not sign on just because u want a car. instead u should make use of these 10 yrs of stable income and start saving when / IF they don't renew your contract after that.
