It runs in your life - everyone will bound to meet different people, fall for different people. If you feel the need to do something about your weight - do something then. My advice is do anything to get the self esteem going (of course not to the extend of dangering your life).
People must always improve themselves - because your effort spend on improving yourself, be it physically or character-wise, you won't and don't have to worry so much - everything will revolve around fate.

I am fat, really fat..130kg, imagine that (good thing i am tall 182..or else really like ball). To me, I love myself as I am and that gives me confidence. Being fat doesnt make me feel ashamed of jumping around on stage and rocking out when i am doing a gig although i might look like a blob to people hahaha...and i think this sort of confidence helps because there are pretty girls who took an interest in me (dun smash me for thick skin ok...) (but i am still single by choice...finds a relationship too stifling for now)...so well i guess its really down to personality..i guess my uncompromising attitude and confidence looks sort of 'cool' to some girls (people say one lah, wun vouch for it...)...
so those fat ones like me out there, dun worry man, though if you have looks like brad pitt to go with a nice personality, you will be more popular, but we are the rare ones in a niche market and as we all know, niche market "products" are more expensive leh!!
