oh actually go overseas is good only if you know how to save up lor, my fren gets normal pay but allowance is ard $3000 per month, but not inclusive of accomodation, so they few of the technicians get cheap cheap, i think he at least save half of his allowance per month...Originally posted by kopiosatu:i'm an air-frame technician

RSAF also looking for certs these days. Few of my friends don't get their contract re-new.
now panic cos no certs to support them in looking for a new job outside as RASF experience are non working experience to the industry outside.
If not then you go for the money, save up and come back then upgrade.
Just some suggestions. Think about it and let your office in charge knw. Good luck

u wan to throw ur live into the armed forces?i suggest you ask your OC if there is a way you can take a SAF scholarship for FT studies in a poly...4year bond.Not sure if you can do it while u are inside liao....but i'm sure they wan u to upgrade.....then during school holidays i think they will recall u serve...
