haha.. i think if you were to do A-levels it usually a good idea to pursue a degree... its pretty difficult to get jobs as a graduate already... what more with an A-level cert...Originally posted by xian89:sorrie if i sound bad. Juz wanna find out abt the type of jobs they usually go for since now many jobs required experiences. I strongly believe 'A' level student shd have a better prospect than polytechnic. N wanna noe what they do after 'A' level if they dun intent to pursue a degree. No hard feelings pls....

cos the jc peeps tend to be biggoted myopic faggots who can get it down on a girl even if u pumped their scrotum full of spanish fly.Originally posted by 7tHeAvEn:man this seemingly innocent comparison btw poly n JC guys have somehow materialized into a topic full of threads from both factions flaming each other![]()
I love working men.Originally posted by IamAngeline:Seriously I prefer Poly guys? Y?
Cos I find Poly guys tend to be more mature than those JCs~
What do u think?~
Thanks for your blatantly biased confabulation. So, you are from a top 5 jc. FYI for the first 3 months of this year I was in the top jc according to A level results.Originally posted by osiris_99:huh of coz most of u voted for poly... coz all of u r from there...
for me poly sucks... students dye their hair, smoke, skip lectures, speak some moronic english (hmm we shouldn't call tat english anyway)
I wonder why all of them could be considered as 'students'... they spend most of their time having fun rather than studying
and those who said poly gals r better muz be mad... my school has infinite number of pretty gals... and not only pretty... they are smart and well brought up... mature enough to respect wat is relationship...not like some poly gals who know only how to flirt around (sounds cheap indeed)
and btw I'm from one of the top 5 jcs and I dun find the gals in my school nerdy or book maniac looking...
maybe my comments are stereotyping poly gals... but well... u all started it first... and nothing wrong I believe in expressing my opinion
need to bury it deeper.Originally posted by wuming78:sigh.. here it goes again! i had thought this thread is dead liao... but someone has to dig out the corpse...![]()

I chose not to stay although I could have made my back back very easily. Why? It's not because of the people, but the A lvl system.
I agree some of the poly-goers might have sub-standard english but that doesn't mean all of us. However is that grounds to label them as non-students?
Somehow, I believe your definition of students is rather narrow and myopic. I suggest you get to know some top MIT students. They are far from the homey good boys you picture them to be.
As for flirting poly gals? I have no first hand experience. Have you? Highly doubtful. There are of course the black sheep from both jcs and polys.
Lastly I suggest that you go acquire some tact before you start mingling around with the more 'uncouth' ruffians in poly. Some of them are not as diplomatic as I am.
