Where to buy beautiful Bettas/Fighting fish?

u r rite man. the male will stay under the bubble looking after the eggs. think it takes about 1-2 wks to hatch...got to be very careful during this period not to disturb, all ur effort will be gone if anything happen. the fish will eat the babies once hatch...Originally posted by sh|nY_BoY:i thought only males make bubbles at the surface of the water? as the nest for eggs... -

its ok for d male to b hostile. Female have to show signs of rediness. like swimming diff or verticle strips on its body. Most importantly...female have to b mature and smaller than male.
Male and female bettas make bubble nest too.
jumping into breeding would b a big headace if u have juz started raring betta. but u can try. and learn form ur mistakes....tat wat i do.

Although Bettas are classified as "easy to keep" Tropical Fresh water fish" But U still need to put some efforts in changing/maintaining the water conditions of the Bettas
Getting a WHITE Crown Tail Bettas soon. Very nice. One is a pure WHITE Bettas while the other one got those dark blue spot on it. Still thinking which one is nice!! Maybe a PURE WHITE Betta is more ELEGANT? -

Their Bettas are damn nice. Crown Tail/Half Moon ect U can find and get it there as the WHOLE SHOP is just selling Bettas alone....
The guy told me that there is a Bettas competition next month: 12/7 and 13/7 at Yew Tee areas.
Just spend $15, U can get a damn Chio Bettas.... I was told Arising Aquarium bought Bettas from this shop/supplier? -

What does adding something to the tank after changing the water have to do with the fish's breeding method?
rainbow fish are specially breed 1......they add some kind of chemical to their fish. if u will to suay suay to buy 1 fish that onli can suit their water, ur fish will slowly die... (exprience before)

although they r much stronger fishes but they r also prone to diseases. Keeping em in small containers requires frequent change of water. for me i do it every 2days.imagine.....40 over containers to change.
But Until now i still think keeping bettas is rather challenging.
