Where to buy beautiful Bettas/Fighting fish?

One of my Bettas had out of a sudden become a bit inactive and there is a fading of its Red colour...... Hope it can survive till tomorrow so that I can buy the medicine for him.
Anyone encounter this issue before? -

u chia lat already. not frightening u. but i encounter d same problem b4. had a blue male....suffered d same thing also. In less than a week a blue fish turned into a white fish. Believe it anot is up to u. and i mean white...even d fins. May b urs may not b smiliar to mine. lets hope so. May b its ulcer. Let me c......do a full change of water. Increse salt dosage to 10% and yellow powder(packet form, its a Jap yellow powder). No feeding for 3 days. Do a change of water and repeat d same procedure after every change of water.

I intend to go to Arising Aquarium tomorrow to buy the medicine for the Betta.
It happened just overnight. The night before the Betta is very very lively!!!
I am wondering what is the causes of the unknown illness??? I just hope that the Betta can survive till tomorrow so that cure can be given to him in time to rescue him. -
add yellow powder and salt is wat Airsing will tell u to do.
or may b add m.blue also.
a pac of yellow pow would cost u 1.50 or less.
Most LFs should have it.
if d fish color is still there until today than u still can save it.
i hope he is still alrite.

I basically changed the water that night and add in PURE LIQUID lotion into it and the Bettas recovered!!!!! Now, it always flare at the other Bettas, good appetite etc... Thanks.
I believed it is due to eating some bad frosen red worm that causes it. I will be more cautious about the frosen red worm from now on as U will find some bad worms in the whole cube. -
Nowadays I will add salt to the overnight water which I reserved for my Bettas as I was told by many people keeping Bettas that Salt actually killed off those harmful bacteria/substances etc etc which are present in the water.
I only add a bit of salt to the overnight water as too much salt contents might make the water condition not suitable for the Bettas -
u buy what Frozen Bloodworms ? i buy Hikari ones....my 1st 32-cube pkt abt to finish liao....so far so gd but i only feed them those that looks fatter and redder...

I also buy those 32 cubes one or 24 cubes package. Choose only those that are reddish in colour as they are still fresh. DO NOT FEED those that appeared browish/black as it will make the Bettas ill.
My Red Coloured Crown Tail Betta bought from Arising Aquarium almost lost its life after I suspected giving him the bad worms. -

dun realli trust frozen ones...tried b4...but didnt say its harmful.
i feed my fishes live worms.
u can add salt to ur age water.....for me i onli do it when my fish is sick. salt onli kills parasites. Bacteria is another story...much harder to eliminate. -

A lot of benefits. U can get a bottle from NTUC. It comes in a light green box. -
if u buy Rid-All brand (small bottle), it is S$5+....if u buy Interpret one it is S$7.50 but then...Interpret is better as it is more value for $ and has a dropper (you can use it to suck up waste matter if u want...) and a measuring cup. it is hard to identify Interpret...the box says "Aquarium Treatment 10'....keep a lookout for it..it is highly concentrated also...1 drop and u get blue water...looks nice also. go to Jurong West Area lah...there got alot of LFS.

Do try to get those PH down solution as it is also good for your Bettas. the ideal PH range for Bettas is 6.5 to 7 -
i use methalyene blue to kill bacteria and prevent fungus growth onli. sometimes even to disinfect. Its better to get m.blue from lfs and i think interpret would do d job although im using some other kind of m.blue....i would say much stronger. NTUC's m.blue? i dun think tat is originally meant for fishes. Hmmm...using ph down....not such a gud idea...as i mentioned b4 ph isnt realli an important factor...it is not neccessary to use a ph down or up for bettas. Doing a change of water will do it. As i have so many containers of bettas...i dun realli monitor all of their ph hardness and so on. Juz to make sure tat they r eating well and dun fall sick.

leave the aged water for 2 to 3 days before changing water? -

katapang is not needed i heard.....age it overnight should do but if u leave it for 2-3 days also same...anyway, i not expert also.

u guys see the betta nice then buy or u guys perfer to buy the betta when they are still small.. havent fully devolp kinda ?

see a shop selling betta..sell alot young ones..the fins all havnet come out.. small small ones..

i bought a blue crowntail male, a rather small one lor....now fins grow longer but body still the same leh......but then only a month plus has elapsed lor.....then i bought another yellow crowntail male......died 2 days later, think he got frightened by his neighbours....
