My real name's Hitomi and I come from Japan with my family on a business trip. I'll be staying in Singapore for a long while, but fortunately I'm fluent in English and Japanese (not my first trip overseas). I arrived in Singapore just yesterday night, so I'm still wide awake
Just want to know more about Singapore! (and I hope I posted in the right forum!) Currently I have no friends here. So I hope and I can get to know more Singaporean pals from this place! Thanks and arigato!

You seem to have an excellent command of the English language. Can I take this to mean that you spent a lot of your younger years abroad in English-speaking countries?
Will you be attending school whilst in Singapore? -

I learnt how to speak english as I've spent 2 years travelling around Europe, about half-a-year around Melbourne in Australia. In Britain, I went to Marymount International School, where I picked up the English Language. Then I went back to Japan to attend high school, until news came that we had to go to Australia. I'm not sure about my future plans in Singapore. We came here so abruptly, we've haven't had time to think. If we're staying for more than a year then I'll definitely need to attend school.
