Good grief! That's not a lot of time to prepare for relocating to another country!Originally posted by Hitomi Nagasaki:I learnt that I had to come to Singapore only 3 days ago. I was in Melbourne previously.
Not really. The last few days was a rush, but we've managed to get everything here. Including my cat Kaori, who has travelled to 3 countries by flight so far.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Good grief! That's not a lot of time to prepare for relocating to another country!
Is there stuff that you still need to cart over from Melbourne?
Thanks! It's forums like these that helps me get used to a country quickly, so I won't feel lonely in an unknown place.Originally posted by kikq:im not in sg but welcome to sgf
I learnt how to speak english as I've spent 2 years travelling around Europe, about half-a-year around Melbourne in Australia. In Britain, I went to Marymount International School, where I picked up the English Language. Then I went back to Japan to attend high school, until news came that we had to go to Australia. I didn't study in Melbourne, so it was half-a-year of vacation for me.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Hitomi,
You seem to have an excellent command of the English language. Can I take this to mean that you spent a lot of your younger years abroad in English-speaking countries?
Will you be attending school whilst in Singapore?
I'm not sure, yet. I was born in Aiiku Byoin Maternal Hospital in TokyoOriginally posted by ^tamago^:hi.
