This has got to do with the economy of Singapore. And also, should Genting win, it has got an effect socially, politically and economically... Shocked

    • Most likely the entrance charge they impose on casino goers will include rides and use of other Integrated Resort facilities.

When you go for the use of resort facilities, you might be entice into going to the casino. That's what I would do if I want more Singaporeans to go donate money to the casino.

    • Sometimes you wonder if the IR is truely a resort or just something named "resort".

We have the IR bidders all coming up with all sorts of things like research facilities for marine life, soccer development academies etc.

      I'm like, har?Laughing

    • I think the most important is casino.. the main draw.. the other attractions is to keep the kids occupied while adults go gamble and maids look after the Kiddos.

Cant u see? They are mostly attractive to kids. Laughing

    • Lots of people were expecting 8th Wonder to clinch the bid. Now that Genting has won, will it affect Genting Highland's business? Think Genting share in Malaysia will drop like a bomb on Monday. Cool
