The ministers who are taking monies from the citizens by going to the parliament to pass any laws they want to increase their own salaries and pay exceptionally any amounts of bonuses they want and create their own lifelong annuities not to mention director fees etc should actually be the first ones to donate the excesses to the deprived and needy who could not survive in our tax-and-recover system.

SETTING A BENCHMARK
If ministers will do it and set the standards, the everyone will follow. I have been donating more than 1% of my annual income to charity for the past 20 years.
The way we do it is to donate not just money, but also time, so eventually, we can raise even more for the chariy

they did, they did...
with people's money pegged (they get
pensions too) to the top earners from the private/professionals...
to remain incorruptible, that's doing Singapore a favour, don't u
agree? they are paid for their brains to tax people to help the
poorer, yah? and that's already 'donating' their capabilities, in
case u don't know this already...
we must be grateful n thankful.....

I do hope that even if the rich were to donate, it would be in good hands. I would not want a repeat of the NKF and Youth Challenge incident.
Maybe they should consolidate all charities in different bodies to ensure greater governance instead of having scattered private charity organisations that people never even heard of.

All I know are all their Half-Assed schemes in healthcare and housing...
I think they should just STFU altogether...
