End of UMNO?

Anwar has won and sworn into parliament. Do you think this is the end of UMNO? I think since he has won, it means that the government will surely sue him and throw him into jail for sodomy. So that means the end of Anwar instead. If he has not returned back to politics, than the government will not sue him and he will be safe instead.

Right from the onstart, Anwar was never a representative of multiracial. He was the UMNO deputy PM. He is seeking revenge for the snob and sideline from UMNO.
Anwar is only as strong as his visible enemy - UMNO. But the moment UMNO disappears from the scene, he faces the invincible enemies within his multi-party system - extremists, ultra, reformists, human right group, democratic group, minority-interest group etc. -

Anwar election is a blessing to all Malaysian, the political event unfold in malaysia should serve as a lesson for Singaporeans to learn from it. With Anwar and his gangs putting pressure on UMNO, look what the PM Badawi declared yesterday...
Reduce income tax for all
Reduce housing and car taxation.
This shown that the ruling govt is desparately seeking popularity by giving away better goodies to its citizens inorder to win votes.
But our govt got no pressure to change anything.

Alternatively UMNO will make him a deal. Join UMNO and get a red carpet into Putrajaya with blessings.

very unlikely. it is a very large coalition that has been entrenched in power for 40 over years. it is also very rich which is impt because money politics is practised there.

If Anwar is correct, 30 MPs from the BN will jump ship...
But now, with 40 over MPs in Taiwan learning how to grow the agriculture farms??? Come on now... do you seriously believe it???
Just when Anwar is getting too close to the Sep 16 dateline to topple the BN, the UMNO MPs were told to fly to Taiwan and return to Malaysia after the Sep 16..... isn't that too co-incidental???
And the minister-in-charge (what's his name again?) said that this move is not a political decision..... and you believe that???
Sheeshhh.... what a joke...
I guess anwar will miss the Sep 16 dateline... but all the MPs are back in Malaysia... he will then strike forcefully and immediately...
That will be the day when we see Pak Lah trying to inhale more fresh air frantically..... and see the downfall of BN right in front of his sleepy eyes....

The thing is, why is anwar so confident? No one can declare such confidence to the world unless he really already have the 30ppl to jump ship... I dont know, just my opinion...

the sept 16 is to draw attention only... the action of sending political members overseas was the desired action that Anwar is hoping for... the sign of weakness. by showing this sign of weakness, Anwar will have the opportunity to gather more attention and lay his path to victory.
If questioned why his prediction never come true, Anwar can truthfully state that the members was sent overseas, so his plan was delayed.
but if UMNO never send the member overseas, they will still have a fighting chance to retain power. But with their sign of weakness, it is already over...

Dun say UMNO.
Even the Defence Chief Gen. Aziz'something' lol.. calling for stern action against Ahmad. Quoting racial tension = security threat. For the military to intefere with civilian issues means its goonna get big if PM dun do something.
I worry more about UMNO extremists then anything.
Lets just wait n see if he has the majority.

Well.. racial tensions has increased thanks to some ppl. damn politicians. Complain no use. We gotta enter politics and change it ! Like minded people are needed!
I wanna be one of the hands that will help shape the country.
But well , i just hope over time i wont become one of them and loose my objectivity. It happens to alot of ppl. Politics. If can survive in politics u can survive anything. lol
