This will prove useful in FIBUA situations where the enemy hides in tunnels or rooms.
Do we use FAE in FIBUA setting? I think clearing long tunnels and deep sewers will be more effective if we use FAE. Just let the gaseous fuel fill up the tunnel or sewer before detonating. This way a larger area can be cleared.

Wah!!! Like FAE leh!! Might as well come up with an armbrust or Matador style FAE rocket. This type of rounds good at attacking MG nest, fortifications as the liquid stick around and burn at high temperature. Could they be used against tanks? I read that during the Russo-Finland war, the Finns used molotov cocktails to defeat Russian armour.

The russians came up with an interesting system. Its basically and RPG-FAE.
Supposedly very effective in taking out bunkers and such. -
The RPG-FAE thingy would either be the TBG-7V (introduced in 198
or TBG-29V grenade. The Russians seem to have this thing with FAE, quite a few of their ATGMs are also available with FAE warheads (eg. At-6/9/13/14). Other recent adoption by armies that have "seen the light" would be the SMAW-NE in use by the USMC.
However, point to note would be that the FAE warheads have less penetrative capabilities than HE/HESH/HEAT rounds. For maximum effect, they'd need to be fired through an opening into the room/building/bunker.

That makes sense. I figured that would be the same order to go against hardened bunker networks. Drop a few penetrators to open up a hole, followed by an FAE into the hole made. Of course, that would require a precision guided FAE.

In a multilevel bunker, the first earth penetrator can only do so deep. One way is use one PGM to open a hole usually on a ventilation shaft, followed by another. Quite effective.
Except that during Operation DS, the first level was a civilian air raid shelter and the second level was the C3 center that bombers were targeting.
