Fear of driving, pls help me

i am currently learning how to drive, manual. i am taking the test as a private.
and i get all nervous and really tense whenever my driving instructor brings me to the main road.
my call don't stall or diffcutly in gear changing when inside the kallang area where there isn't a lot of cars.
this is totally different when he bring me to the main road, i get so nervous my call stalls, my gear change is no longer smooth, and i get so tense my hands and feets are trembling. my mind is at almost blank.
my instructors also gives out command like machine gun, look here , there brake clutch, accelactor, thne change gear.
i know driving is not easy, and to be a good + safe driver is even harder.
i fear running into somebody because of my lousy driving.
i fear causing trouble to other road users.
i don't want to cause a jam on the road.
by the way this is only the second lesson i had, i am really scare of drving with so many cars, when ever that happens i just go blank.
can somebody give me advise or share similar experience with me ? how do i overcome it ? will more lessons cure ? -
practice more.
soon after a few lessons where nothing happens, you'll gain the confidence. -
More lessons will definitely cure.
You need to loosen up. When people see the "L" plate, they keep 5 car lengths from you, so relax. Go ahead and burn the clutch, after all, you paid for it. Manual cars only need replace one clutch. -
Keep on trying. Dun give up.
Worst comes to worst, learn auto car. -

but the fear is still there, what is this i am feeling ? i can't put it into words, once in the car i am almost blank, on the main road i am as good as a block.
wad can i do to get a hold of myself ? slap myself or sth ? -

just concentrate on the road, don't be bothered by other stuffs. -

or you can press the horn also. to wake yourself up.
if you're still not awake, then i guess your instructor will wake you up. -

I also only main road dat might stall, ppl see L plate sure bully u. I seen lots of stunts trying to scare u only haha. 2nd lesson only it's ok one. I postpone my test date to dec haha. As long u don't overspeed, u won't likely bang the pedestrians la, ur instructor also can brake for u in case.

dun worry too much about giving trouble to the traffic n road users.. u've put on the L plate to qualify u to drive slowly, make mistakes.. dun worry too much.. just put ur focus on learning.. u paid to learn rite.. jia you -

after each lesson, go thru in ur mind wat did u do 'wrong' to cause ur anxiety and wat can b improve..rem wat ur instructors says...then understabd why he/she said that...then internalize wat u need to do when u are hitting e same area again..
if ur instructors instructions too fast ask him/her to slow down...
visualizing helps me..as in thinking b4hand wat to do/when/wat/why.. -

It is normal for you to feel anxiety while on the road.
Kallang is, in my opinion, the most difficult one.
Congestion due to higher traffic and old narrow roads.
I got my license from Kallang.
Once you become more familiar with the test route, your confidence will increase.
It seems your instructor is more uptight than desired.
Are you driving a new car ?
Perhaps you may want to switch instructor if you are uncomfortable with the current one.
Don't stinge on the lessons, practice makes perfect.
Once the car becomes an extension of your limps, you will find it easier to maneuver. -

i thought singapore only got cdc,ssdc and bbdc. -
my driving instructor brings me to kallang, near singapore indoor statium since there are not many cars there. good for L plates.
then he will bring me to gelang- balastier- payalebar.
those roads are seriously challenging, i am very scare of doing a U turn in the junction, the idea of a car stall would totally kill me
sometimes when i can't see the traffic light in front of my due to a large vehical blocking i get very nervous.
and my moving off is slow and when nervous stalls because i let go of the clutch too quickly in an attempt to move off quickly. -
Relax, it's only your 2nd lesson right? How about asking your instructor to go to places with less complicated traffic situations? As the others have said, practise and more practise! You'll be alright after a few more lessons!

Its all about your inferior complex. Either you overcome the fear or driving or don't drive at all. Don't be a wimp. Choose your decision wisely.

More practice => more exp => more confidence => zai driver

If you really wanna protect yourself and others, I suggest you listen attentively to your driving instructor. We can't help you overcome the fear.. its YOU yourself who can help.. I think the test routes are pasted on the notice boards in the Driving centers.
You may want to go take a look.
Worrying about stalling is normal.
Just press more gas.
You don't have to worry about the gas usage, you already paid for it. So no need to save money for your instuctor.
Don't worry about the big vehicle either, if you cannot see the traffic lights.
Look out for the movements of other vehicles.
There is always a pattern to the flow.
Also, you can use the rear brake lights to give you an idea if the big lorry is moving off or not. Big vehicles usually takes longer to lumber off.
So, no worries. You have all the time in the world.
Familiar yourself with the clutch biting point.
I used to purposely stall the engine, so I know exactly when it will happen. -
