1) regarding the title... All girls want someone rich and good looking. Blame it on Hollywood, those richard gere movies.
2) there are still one girls around that are not looking juz for money.
3) read a book once, in it is say these 3 things must be present $$$ - Love - Heath. If u have a steady secure income, and healthy, then love shouldn't be hard to find.
4) if your young and still studying... duh! girls that age are quite easily influence, and thus may seem materlaistic. They want to have everything and expect get everything.
5) when your older, it easier to find a "simple" girl.
6) if all else fails theres always SDS & SDU

If you are 17+, you are still young and have alot of people to meet in your life time. Make the best of your teenage life and make friends. Enjoy your youth as much as you can instead of worrying about relationships and marriage.

As a Singaporean girl, I'll have to say, I detest guys who are desperate to be in a relationship.
Seriously, it's not about your looks, or your money (and if it is the girl is just not worth it), but essentially about how the two of you click.
And if you don't click in the first place, then the girl will start looking for other redeeming points (like $$ or looks).

Im in poly now. It seems to be a totally different side compared to Seconday school girls. Poly students have more freedom resulting in high self discipline and growth in maturity.
Such "love" that goes by looks and your assets are just not very much sighted. So don't worry. And that is also why ppl ask you not to be in r/s in secondary sch. tsk tsk tsk. -

well, i am in ur category ya. I got rejected 4-5 times before? Nv have a girlfriend? But then, i saw this particular girl in my uni who is not stunningly beautiful but just i like the way she is.
A bit ah soh, but then cheezy. I am working hard to know her better and hope eventually i will have by my side.
Here are some of the tips that u might find them useful:
1) Don't rush into a r/s but rather build a friendship first
2) Behave the way u normally behave. Don't be a hypocrite
3) Find the girl's best friend and befriend her so as to get her support to woo the girl (this is important really)
4) May sure u look neat and tidy. (u want a untidy and dirty girl? obvious right)
5) Cultivate a habit of making sure ur house is clean (do help ur parent in housework -- will be helpful when u get married) -
if u have the looks of course girls come easily.
If u don u better make sure u are rich.
If u don have both, make sure u are talented in some way.
