Yeah, getting 2 full teams will be quite difficult unless it is a regular event with regular players.
hahahaha. initially, i thought of that as well. i've even approach directly some of those whom i thought they would keen to play.
but evidently, majority are crouch soccer fans. they prefer to discuss about it.
and kismet, i'm currently playing with another group of guys. if you are really keen and available on every sunday morning, let me know.

[/b]Used to play when I was younger and even up till last year. Not too good at it but it was more for exercise whenever I had reservist IPPT coming.
Then again, most of the time I could only play 20 - 25 mins each half before subbing out to rest. Body cannot take it ...
But thanks for the invitation though I don't think I will take it up for now.

Originally posted by www:hahaha.. i have tried organising twice. one turned out to be a success, with the other cancelled.
to gather 2 full teams (11 aside) is seriously asking for too much.
the first soccer outing we had like 5-6 aside.
we also had quite a few who volunteered to do cheerleading, but didnt turn up.
Maybe you can organise soccer competition instead of game......winner get to collect their prize on D&D nite...

kops21 watch soccer games, play CM4 soccer games, do regular exercises, but no kick soccer ball. kops21 fitness should be at least on par with www.
As we grow older, some folks hang up their soccer boots for one reason or another. For kops21, i have neber own a soccer boot in the first place. Though i did borrow from friends when there are matches...bo $$ lah.....

hehe. nah, age has nothing to do with overall fitness.
initially, i thought it is natural that one's performance decline as he grows older until we matched against a team of 30-40 year old folks (smokers with beer bellies). they taught us a good lesson.
of course one cant expect to run tiredlessly after not having to play for a long time. but once you play regularly, your fitness will naturally come back. -
