I think you tell me before. 1-2 years before. Anymore? Laughing

No wonder 886L like one of those MKIVs that can run.

      Voith DIWA 381.4 is a 3-speed Voith.

      A Voith 4-speed would be either Voith DIWA 864.4 or 863.4 .

I myself no not know either. Laughing But its a technology by them that's planted on the gearboxes , which boast better fuel mileage .

In case you don't know , the gearboxes' torque converter works as a retarder as well.

    • 76 has new side square desto and rectangular desto. it no longer shows siglap road or yio chu kang, but yio chu kang-siglap road(loop). for the square side desto, a new font is used for the service number 76, the others are the same.

      Yes I know.

So essentially I can only confirm 886L is a voith 4 speed unit.

this type side desto description for loop services are finally out!

it doesn't make sense to display on the side desto for eg svc 315 "SERANGOON" because it could mean the bus is heading towards Sgoon Int wheras in actual fact it could also mean the bus is heading towards Sgoon Nth before making a loop back to Sgoon Int. instead, it should display "SERANGOON - SERANGOON NORTH (loop)" to avoid confusion.
