No more public bus services to Indoor Stadium?

  It seems there will be no more public bus services to serve Kallang Leisurepark and Indoor Stadium area?

  Notices have been put up which mentions service 16 will be amended to skip the whole of Stadium area from Wednesday 29 Sep, due to road closure to build the Sports Hub. This could be one of the reason to withdraw the Stadium Direct services.

  Service 11 could possibly be withdrawn?

  theres the Circle Line... already, stadium is like a ghost town on weekdays, and leisure park and SIS are the only amenities in the heart of stadium area..
  
  Leisure park also not that happening even on weekends..

  Svc 16 is free to use ADDs i suppose...

  it'd be nice to see an ADD svc 16 in joo chiat...

  All for the sake of money they are doing it, I suppose.    There are people,. crowd there only when there are events there.  

  Remember, the present bunch of govt in singapore places profit making as the top priority in almost everything under them.   Public service is secondary.

  I think sv16 most likely will receive KUBs cameos or perm once the route is ammended.

  u go see NTU's road bend at CEE there.

  only thing is tat Joo Chiat area is more of hazards i.e. road side parking.

  1) Stadium Road between Stadium Drive and Stadium MRT station
  2) Stadium Drive between Stadium Boulevard and the slip road to Nicoll Highway

  Any info on service 11?

  Good move for service 16 to be diverted to Mountbatten Road as the route duplicates the CCL to the stadium.

  it's more likely tat decided tat since there's CCL, Eastsiders will have CCL to take..

  But can't be said for Westsiders, having to face earlier last WB train.

  Updated on SBST website...
  On the whole smoother ride... was a breeze on SBS865Y wic i took last nite home...
  Now waiting for new introductees to sv16 fleet...
