from BV-Portsdown road have a very low demand and it's wasted to have DDs.

106 should be extended to Choa Chu Kang so that people from CCK will have a direct bus to Clementi, Holland Village/Holland Road/Botanical Gardens and MBS. Another alternative service to Orchard Road other than the heavily utlisied/always-crowded-despite-having-so-many-bus-deployments 190
Choa Chu Kang Interchange
Choa Chu Kang Ave 4
Choa Chu Kang Way
Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 (adds as another partial feeder other than 975)
Brickland Road (under utilised road which allows it to reach Bukit Batok quickly with no bus stops and little traffic)
Bukit Batok Road
Bukit Batok West Ave 2
Bukit Batok Central
and then it continues on its current route..
Same for its opposite direction

I don' t think SMRT has any spare buses to 'enhance' or 'expand' her current services.
SMRT106 is packed, and they still dispatched 'non' bendies during peaked hours. Sometimes I had to give up on SMRT106 and wait for SBSTransit7 instead.
How I wish SBSTransit would take back some of the bus routes.
There really should be a new service directly connecting Pasir Ris, Tampines and Bedok to tertiary institutions in the west, such as NUS, NTU, NP, SP, NJC, HCI and ACJC. I know there is the East-West Line, but the MRT has been so unreliable in recent months, some tertiary students buy bus-only travel concession and having more travel options would reduce crowdedness.
Besides tertiary institutions, what other major landmarks in the west would hundreds of Singaporeans living in Pasir Ris, Tampines and Bedok travel to and from on a daily/weekly basis? We could plan the exact route together. :)

A new service from CCK to NTU via KJE will be nice.. Pasir Ris, Tampines and Bedok too far already. Bus drivers confirm quit job

88 already goes directly from Ang Mo Kio Interchange to Bishan Interchange.
How come Boon Lay Bus Interchange is the bus interchange with the most number of bus services, but only two go to NTU? Could the route of 30 (which goes to Bedok Bus Interchange) be slightly changed to drop by NTU and Pasir Laba Camp? The same could be done for either 178 or 187, for the sake of NTU students living in the north.
How about this?

...then speed to NTU and back to Boon Lay Interchange (unless there is a direct bus from NUS to NTU, which there isn't).
Aim for fully wheelchair accessible service, peak frequency 4-8 mins, non-peak frequency 6-12 mins. I know, sounds really demanding, but imagine the impact.

Does anyone from SgForums actually forward good suggestions to the relevant authorities for consideration?
