what happen when you senior pastor walk out from you

i have a real story to share. i used to attend this church back in 2000. The church started with 15 ppl and grew to around 140 in 2011. however, the senior pastor suddenly wanted to migrate to US and left the church. Till today, the church is led by another pastor who have follow him for the last 14 years and is in a dilemina now. The church premises are seal because it own rental for the last 9 months and now is having it service at a hotel. however the church now owe the hotel 4 months of rental and the hotel is considering to sue the church. The current members left only 15 members and are all struggling. What will you do if you are in their shoes?

if not money, then don't go hotel - if go already then must pay up. What to do - get all the resource - settle the bill first .Then you can decide how to look for a cheap and affortable to hold your service .

Now now isn't time you all to reflect and think over, whether did your old good bible teach the senior pastor to abandon the church for his own missionary purpose or something, whether people leaving apart for the other better bigger church, etc.. Is this a good old value that you learn, after years of reading "the compilation of religious junks" which at least advocate good. Or would you just sing hallelujah that all things would work good according to god will. Get real.. People believe in religion / spirituality, not because it is how true the fable truth is, but because they want to be made happy by these "nonsense". No amount of rational talks can do anything. Think think again, study all (not the things you heard frm ur christian field), re-examine the facts!!!

May be your church leaders not into prosperity preaching to get money like kong hee. Look at kong hee he talks like in the position of a salesman to ask for money and he got it.
Or your church needs some upgrading, soul searching. Where are your goals, mission and focus?????

the best thing to do is as follows:
1. write to a fellow church, explain situation and ask if they can help. subsume your church into theirs.
2. pool money together and pay up, then move the meetings to someone's place. 15 people don't need a hotel venue for service.

i only dont like that prfessional beggar. that case is too much. the rest of other cases is not of any interest to me yet. if people are so blind and confuse to need a prominent figure, idea, book to follow, then god bless them.

thanks for giving all the advices. however the church refuse any help. there are two associate pastors who are serving in the church. they are blinded. fyi, the these church pastors has been working all their life in the church. the best thing the church never pay them cpf all these while. now these two pastors are left with nothing
