I heard that if ppl AWOL, the MP won't bother about u even if u stay at home only when u go back camp then u will be charge am i rite ?

Nope, from what i've experienced. they can come into ur house coz they are armed with a search warrant... i've went AWOL a few times in my NS life also. But looking back, it's quite stupid to do that. Will MP go to your workplace to arrest you if you AWOL? Cos I saw a MP van at another factory that time when I walked pass the factory.

I have seen cases wheras a personnel had AWOL-ed for a long time.

Is it possible to AWOL till your pass your ORD date? By then u will be a civillian..Can't charge you with military laws?

For those who thinking of AWOL. Ok I'll try to recall what I can about life in the Detention Barracks.
You will be kept in a cell of either 1 or 3 detainee... You won't be sharing a cell with 1 person, this is to prevent any homosexual activities from happening. You'll be only sleeping on the hard cement floor with 2 blankets(used and dirty)
5am. Wake up, brush teeth followed by breakfast consisting of 2 or 3(forgotten) pieces of bread with a mug of coffee/tea/milo. After that nothing to do till 8am or 9 am.
8am/9am. Drill/Sandbag regime.(very tough)
12pm. Lunch. Rice with 1 meat and vege. Then till 1.30pm or 2pm, another round of Drill/Sandbag.
6pm. Dinner, like lunch 1 meat and 1 vege, brush teeth then wait for roll call(counting heads) then wait for lights off ard 9pm.(no more food till 5am)
Repeat the above for the rest of yor days sentenced remaing..
