      i need expert advice from anyone to tell me if i will clear the g50, i dun wanna end up without a job........lol

      1) Do you have a criminal record in Singapore?
      (By this, we refer only to a criminal record of a conviction under the Registration of Criminals Act)

      2) Have you been convicted in a court of law in Singapore or in any other country (excluding parking offences)?



      these questions r common for job application forms, just answer them honestly if being asked in the G50...

      yah, i got declare the traffic accident thingy........

       

      the G50 form that i filled in doesnt have the above questions...... the form that has is the job application form........

      then its safe lah... security clearance is simply basically means background checks... thats all...

      ur bro fix fighter a/c ar? or officers? how come cat 1/1A?

      normal regular USUALLY is 2A

      NSF also got CAT 2A clearance I don't see big issue with regular getting 1/1A clearance.

      i got a weird experience

      My OC can't even be bothered to submit my G50 application form since he thinks i can't get it anyway...

      g50 is just the form for clearance, for 2, 2a, 1 and 1a.

      nsf can get cat 1 clearance,so i don't see why you couldn't, since 2/2a is very common.

      but they will question you about past legal records to check that you are 'clean', that you will not betray the country or smth.

      bro deathmaster........

      the G50 form that i filled in doesnt have the declaration of legal records, just only past education, past work place, referees etc.

       

      the job application form i got declare, under convictions as traffic offence.......

       

      thats why till now, i am still pondering, will i get rejected becos of the traffic accident which i stated above.........
