There's Option (4): Talk to a trusted commander, or the SAF Helpline, and get your worries off your chest and get proper medical help for your anxiety issues.
Sometimes, your anxiety issues can be due to physical processes in your body like a shortage of hormones, which can all be treated with medication. Trust me, I know.
At least that's a far more viable option than what you mapped out.
Hi TS mind sharing what is your daily routine as a clerk? U mention u like the creative stuffs ya?
I suggest u to ask permission to handle the design of army posters/banners within your camp.
Can do things like banners if there's any army event etc.

And I’m not one of those “retarded” kinds, I actually had and will have an education, it’s just this army situation makes me feel so horrible.
Then seriously, what do you want? PES F by cutting off your manhood? Change of citizenship which will never be approved? Change of vocation which you can never effect?
If you're already on counselling at the MMI, then good for you. If the counselling's not enough, sound off to the counsellor that it's not enough. If you think that the problem may be due to your body chemistry, then request for a medical checkup.
No one is questioning your sanity or your education.... but you are not helping yourself by jumping with all these wild ideas. If you say you still can make educated decisions, then sit down and make those educated decisions.
If you really can't take the stress, ask your MO or superior for a transfer out. It probably gonna be the best situation.
ever thought that maybe this is part of "You" growing up.....and adjusting is difficult. Maybe you should stay in camp completely.....be part with the boys completely. So you don't have the agonny of booking in everyday.....
Going home to mommy an't going to make you grow up.
Wad's ur PES status? PES E or C? Too tough for a clerk ask MO let u be bonus staff.
Post out?

u excuse stay in?
Army cannot say u want go MDC then go one. PES F is dependent on MO. If MO think severe enough MO will downgrade u.
But MO will tell u PES F next time gt difficulty finding job.

All P tag cases go counsuelling one but got problem still can call saf hotline.
Originally posted by Karliangg:Exactly… I know the whole “army organizational needs > your needs” speech, which is why I’m not holding out hope of MDC either.
MO can’t ask for people like that, I don’t think… I am scared to post out in case I get somplace worse. I plan to go to the USA to study and work anyways, I feel so out of place in Singapore, let alone the SAF, and I know people are going to lambast me saying “You are SINGAPOREAN!” as I have been told but that’s just the way I feel.
Oh, God…
U on Mc today?U a stay out personel? wad's ur pes status?
I am on MC today. I can’t keep taking MC… that’s just going to be a lot of $ and not a long term solution…
Like that hard to get discharged from NS leh.
C1L3 ur medical condition is nt so serious.
Still far from discharge.
Those PES E(Psy cases) more likely to get discharge. I heard Some PES E (psy cases)NS serviceman get discharged from NS when condition worsten.
Yes getting MC is not a long term solution.
Originally posted by Karliangg:So what do I do??
I cannot keep this up…
Have to report back to camp eventually. Face it like a man. Cant cope tell counsuellor or SAF hotline. No choice already. Pls dun go AWOL. \
When u go MMI see MO pls tell them ur problems.
The last thing u need is keep getting MC. Most army superiors dont like it as they think u chao geng and your colleague have to cover your work for u.
u gotta stop ur mentality of being dependent......you depend on the counsellor, u depend on the activities u bring in, u depend on MDC to hopefully take you.....You may look like you are taking pro-active steps but you sound really helpless.
My simple advice: Just let things be and ACCEPT things the way they are. This is a true test of your adaptability skills. If you can't even do something as simple as this, then I wonder what abt further education in the US.
You have to learn to adjust yourself to the environment , else it is very hard for you to survive in the outside world too.
There are vultures, sharks , tigers, ostriches, snakes, and many other animals in the corporate working world. If you dont learn to adjust and survive you will be eating up. ]
Ask the counselors to check if you are a high sensitive person (HSP) .
