  what does it do ?
  what does the training consists of?

  is it possible to use the primus and point at the enemy PT-91 tanks and blow it to bits ar??
  
  i mean lar point straight parrelel to the ground ,
  
  and not like point it on 60 degrees and fire off ..
  and btw why primus cannot be modified as a 155 MM MBT ar?
  
  since we can beat m'sia 120 MM..please tell me thx alot hor

  BRC is not a unit, but a reconnaissance company that supports a brigade (as the name says)
  
  quite self-explanatory i would say. what they do is very much similar to what the scouts do.

  i think primus sure lose... it is meant for long range...

  Every platoon has 3 APC...
  
  PC and PS vehicle armed with 0.5 inch HMG (Heavy Machine gun) and 40mm AGL (Auto grenade launcher)
  
  25mm Bushmaster cannon is for Cub (3rd) vehicle of the platoon... suppose to engage light armoured vehicle...

  BRC stands for Brigade Recce Company...
  means do recce for the brigade.. duh...
  Like LRRPs, not as xiong as commandos...
  Recce deeper into enemy territories compared to scouts... cos brigade is bigger then battlion...
  Training includes infamous combat survival course, swimming with long 4 and weapon, a lot of topo, a lot of fitness, comms, and you get to learn how to ride a scrambler! Whew!!!
  Basically on course damn xiong, but pass out liao exercise damn slack... cos how many brigade exercise do you have in a year??? So most times spend on physical fitness activities...
  
  Me not BRC, but attached to them for couple of weeks... nice guys, very friendly...

  Err... we have 155mm MBT...
  
  Primus is a artillery piece, not armour vehicle.... you got them mixed up...
  
  It fires mainly high explosive from the rear lines to support infantry, not armour piercing shells to destroy tanks...
  
  If primus encountered enemy means we're in deep shit, cos it means enemy already penetrated deep behind our lines, all our fighting soldiers already dead...

  Hi Gotcha
  
  Go for it. BRC training is siong but good life thereafter. I figure there are only about 3-4 brigade exercise and 1 div exercise a year (depending on year).
  
  Pro
  
  - out on your own in group of fours ... lots of freedom
  - few exercises
  - many opportunity to play enemy
  - attached to conduct NCC training, ATEC etc basically wayang stuff
  
  btw, i'm with sniper platoon residing with BRC ... first hand inform.
